\Water covers over two thirds of the earth’s surface, and our bodies are comprised of over 60% water. It is our most important natural resource as it is essential to our biosphere, and all life forms depend on it to function properly and for their survival. Unfortunately, only 2.7% of the planet's water supply is fresh water and less than 1% of that is accessible for human use. The scarcity of this precious resource makes water education and conservation an important subject for current and future generations.
The study of water helps us to better understand its vast role and importance, and it empowers us to support conservation and ecological preservation of our natural water sources. To foster greater interest in the study of water, we have created this educational resource center to help everyone better understand and appreciate this invaluable element.
